Carpe ❤️ DGFZ
March 25th, 2025Recently, we had the exciting opportunity to visit our collaborators at the DRFZ (Deutsches Rheuma-Forschungszentrum Berlin), where we showcased the Carpe microscopy autocorrelator in action! ⚡
After a quick and seamless setup, Raluca Niesner was able to optimize her multi-photon microscopy system by using the Carpe to measure pulse duration both right after the laser output and under the microscope simultaneously.
This allowed a direct comparison between the pulse duration before and after passing through the optics.
In the photos, you can see a typical multi-photon setup in action, where the Carpe ensures peak performance with minimal effort.
The best part? 😁
Once set up, the Carpe can be switched on to measure at both positions or can be bypassed without the requirement of realignment, making it incredibly flexible and hassle-free.
We’re proud to support cutting-edge research at DRFZ, advancing intravital multi-photon microscopy with Carpe. 🔬
This work pushes optical performance boundaries to quantify immune cell function and enable next-level image analysis and multiplexing in three-photon microscopy.
