APE celebrates its birthday!
November 14th, 2024Exactly 32 years ago, APE was founded by Jan Popien, Edlef Buettner, and Thomas Lindemann. Together, they invented the first commercially available autocorrelator, making it possible to measure the shortest light pulses.
We didn’t stop with our first product. Today, we offer over 30 products, from spectrometers to harmonic generators and from pulse compressors to quantum-dot single-photon sources.
Here at APE, we’re incredibly proud of the meaningful impact we’ve made in science, working alongside the world’s leading laser manufacturers and top research groups.
