ARPES news
November 18th, 2021using Angle-Resolved Photo-Emission Spectroscopy (ARPES) with our light source (80 MHz, 6.5 eV energy, < 1 meV bandwidth), Gerd Schönhense et al. recently demonstrated a new method for enabling time-of-flight photoelectron momentum microscopy for high-repetition rate light sources. The novel technique is based on the use of a photoelectron bandpass pre-filter. This enables momentum microscopy with 4.2 meV energy resolutions and analyzed region-of-interest of < 800 nm.
