New, joint publication using a customized APE picosecond OPA
October 12th, 2022The group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Nolte in Jena, Germany published the first paper using the customized, picosecond optical parametric amplifier (OPA) system from APE. This light source was specifically designed for the customer requirements, enabling high-energy, picosecond Coherent anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) analysis of high pressure gas. The key features of the OPA system are laser pulses tunable between 700 and 940 nm wavelength, with pulse energies above 160 µJ and a very narrow and constant spectral bandwidth of 20 cm-1 achieved over the entire spectral tuning range.
